Delivery Information
Postage - UK
Emily and the Whippet items are sent out via the Royal Mail 1st Class service, unless otherwise stated. Upgrades to Tracked and Signed For postage is available at the checkout.
Some products are printed and sent directly by our suppliers. If the item is one of these, it will be stated on the listing. This helps to keep the environmental impact down, reducing the need for me to hold large amounts of stock that may be created without need. For these items, there is currently a wait of seven days due to Brexit. This period will begin from the day you receive your dispatch notification as this will be the day I send your order to them. After printing, your items will be posted directly to you via the Royal Mail 48 hour service.
If your order include items I stock in house and items sent by our supplier, these will be sent separately.
Postage - Europe
Items to Europe are sent via Royal Mail Standard International. Upgrades to International Tracked and Signed are available at the checkout and for orders going out of the UK, I highly recommend you upgrade. This will give you piece of mind with delivery as you’ll be able to see where it is.
Please be aware that there has been lots of reports of post to Europe getting lost or delayed due to the Brexit/COVID-19 situation. If your order doesn’t arrive, I’ll be unable to refund your item until Royal Mail deems it to be lost.
Postage - The rest of the world
At present, I will not be able to post outside of Europe due to the increase of lost post since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Packaging
I’m committed to protecting our planet in all that I do. All of the Emily and the Whippet packaging is either reused, recycled, biodegradable and/or compostable. Orders are wrapped in green acid-free tissue paper and a mustard biodegradable jute string. (Single cards will be sent without string) All orders include a business card and one of my gorgeous Ziggy postcards.
All products, shipping from both me and my supplier, come in 100% plastic free, recyclable packaging. At present, you have the choice whether to have your cards packed naked or in a cellophane wrapper. These wrappers are only being used whilst I deplete my stock of them (it seems counterintuitive to waste them) and are made from recycled, recyclable plastic.
