Dotty, Stevie and Bob

I instantly knew that I would be asking Emily to draw my three fur babies and she certainly did not disappoint. She has managed to capture their physical images as well as glimpses of their personalities from just a few photos of each and there was no tweaking or changes required. As well as being the family pet, Dotty is a Sound Support Dog matched to her owner by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Sensitive to new places, Dotty was unable to become a fully accredited assistance dog following her training but her kind and gentle soul is perfect for helping her owner with soundwork at home.

Stevie and Bob family died due to an illness as kittens. Sent to the shelter to get one cat, their owner couldn’t leave one on their own so took them both home. Stevie or ‘Needy Steve’ is timid and judgy but always seems to find herself in the middle of whatever is going on. She loves sitting on shoulders and a cuddle with her humans. She’s a hunter but her brother Bob likes to take the credit for her work.

Bob had a rough start to life, at four months health problems led to him having a procedure only previously done on adult dogs! He’s got fangs that stick out, a curly tail and a matching personality. He bowls through life with a certain confidence that his household say “Be more Bob!”
