Whale Shark Ceramic Mug

The largest species of shark and one of the largest marine creatures alive today, the Whale Shark are an endangered species that travel huge distances through tropical waters to gather enough plankton to sustain them. They’re a magnificent species that are still being researched by charities like the Maldives Whale Shark Research Project. Did you know that where young whale sharks reside is still unknown? Young whale sharks are very rarely found. It’s a wonder to think of all we don’t know about the sea!

Each design in this collection will be donating 10% of its profits to a charity that supports that animal. The Whale Shark design will be donated to the Maldives Whale Shark Research Program, a charity that's made it its mission to both study whale sharks and advocate for their conservation in the Maldives. Their research has previously helped to provide the baseline data needed to create the South Ari Marine Protected area, the Maldives’ largest protected area.
